10 Questions with Ashley from Tales of Mommyhood

Today we are interviewing Ashley from Tales of Mommyhood!

1. What kind of gamer are you? Single Gamer, Mommy Gamer, Gamer by association, long time gamer, newbie, not sure why you are here and answering these questions?

2. What types of games do you like to play? Board games, video games, app games, table top, card?
Board Games, Card Games, Candy Crush

3. Tell us about your #1 go to game; it might not even be your favourite, but it's the one you find yourself playing the most often.
At the moment, Candy Crush. Although my oldest and I have an ongoing game of monopoly right now.

4. What is your favourite place to play games? the coffee shop? the computer room? in your PJs on the couch?
We like to play at the dining room table - lots of room!

5. Who do you play games with? strangers? your spouse? family? friends? solo?
Mostly with hubby and our kids.

5.B. What is your favourite party game?
Don't have one

5C. Do you game with your spouse? If yes, do things ever get too competitive? Does gaming bring you together or drive you apart?
We used to play video games together, but he is really competitive and it got annoying, so I stopped.

6. Do you game with your kids? If yes, what are some of your favourite games to play with the kids? Love playing games with the kids! Sneaky Snacky Squirrel is a great game for little ones; sorry is another great one and my oldest and I play war and go fish a lot.

6.B What is your favourite family game?
My favourite family game is probably Sorry.

7. What's currently at the top of your gamer wishlist?
I don't have a wish list

8. Go retro: Name a classic game you loved from ten or twenty years ago.
My grandparents had a home version of Classic Concentration that was really fun!

9. How many hours a week go you spend gaming?
 Not a lot, 2-4 hours maybe?

10. Why do you game? Is it all about winning? Escapism? Family time?
Candy crush is addicting, board games is about family time.
