As you have seen over here at And She Games we love us some Star Wars. I mean how lucky are we all that we get to have a special day to celebrate all the greatness that Star Wars is.
Do you know what we love? That so many people are getting in on this special day that soon it will take over the world MWAHAHAHAHA LOL Don't worry I am just kidding (mostly).
What I meant is more companies and TV channels are getting with the program that May 4th is an awesome day and we should all celebrate that.
I know I can not wait to see fans from all over dressing up as Storm Troopers, Wookies and Jedi in honour of this international Star Wars Day.
So let me ask you a question, do you have plans at 12p.m. ET/PT on May 4th?
The answer should be yes because Family Channel will be joining us on this awesome day with the premiere of LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles.
See what I mean you totally have plans in a galaxy far, far away.
The computer animated four-part miniseries tells stories of Yoda, the 900 year-old wise-talking Jedi master who helps protect the galaxy from the evil forces of the dark side. This action-packed adventure is part of Family's May the Fourth programming which will also include the network premiere of the futuristic space-flick WALL-E, immediately following the special’s debut. A little something for everyone if you ask me.
Set in the prequel Star Wars era, LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles is a thrilling and funny four-part miniseries featuring the Grand Master of the Jedi Council himself, Yoda. Known for his great wisdom, prestigious command of the Force and superior lightsaber combat skills, Yoda’s animated series recalls the Jedi master’s most exciting adventures as he takes on some of the greatest villains in the universe. In the premiere episode, “Escape from the Jedi Temple,” Yoda and the Ghost of Obi-Wan decide it’s time to further Luke’s training when his immaturity nearly puts him and his friends in the hands of Darth Vader. To test his strength, they decide to bring the last of the Jedi Holocrons out of hiding, but first the duo recall the thrilling heist they pulled to free the Holocrons from the Temple in the dawning days of the Empire.
The first installment of LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles be available on Family OnDemand beginning May 23 and will debut on Disney XD on Sunday, May 11 at 8 p.m. ET. The second part of the epic mini-series will premiere on Family this June, with the final two installments coming later this year.
