Exclusive Dragon Quest Fan Bundle Giveaway

Back in 2006 I was a member of a site called SlimeKnights. It was the official Square-Enix fan site for the Dragon Quest line up of games. Along with forums and plenty of DQ based chat, they held challenges and contest where you could earn mini medals to cash in for goodies. This was back in my pre-kid days, and I was a gung-ho member. I created art based on the characters, took photos of Dragon Quest themed Halloween costumes and wrote some stunningly bad poetry. At some point I won one of the bigger draws and was sent a limited edition MP3 player, with a wee blue slime printed on it, and a very special medal. There were very few of these thick two-sided metal "coins" made, which were created by a fellow slime knight and then given out as prizes.

A few weeks back as I was cleaning out the closet in my computer room I found this little bundle. I had never ended up using the MP3 player. It's dated but it works (I tested it out earlier today).

The Slime Knights website has long since been taken down. Between the slime MP player and the handmade coin, it's like a tiny bit of gaming history. Instead of placing it back in my closet to gather dust I thought why not put it up here as a giveaway, and hopefully let it end up in the hands of some Dragon Quest fan.

To round out the giveaway I've added in two Dragon Quest Nintendo DS games, Rocket Slime and Dragon Quest VI (both previously played but in just like new condition).
