The Halo Master Chief Collection

For Christmas, my hubby received a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

For the first time ever, The Master Chief’s entire story is on one console. Featuring a re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4, new digital series, Halo: Nightfall, and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Beta, this is the definitive Halo experience.
  • The Complete Master Chief Story – Honoring the iconic hero and his epic journey, The Master Chief’s entire story is brought together as The Master Chief Collection. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 are all included with Xbox One visual fidelity, 60fps, a total of 45 campaign missions plus more than 100 multiplayer (including the original Halo Combat Evolved maps) and Spartan Ops maps. Along with new prologue and epilogue cut scenes foreshadowing Halo 5: Guardians, this is the collection Halo fans have been waiting for, all on Xbox One.*

He obviously wanted to play that day, but Microsoft had been hacked and he couldn't get the downloads.

After several false starts and a bunch of issues, he got it all set up and we tried to play teams with four of us.  They completely changed where everything was, and how things are set up.  The interface isn't at all user friendly, and he couldn't figure out how to make the team selections. We just had to hope they were even.  Since I never play, we wanted myself to be on my hubby's team, as he is much better at playing then the rest of us.  We would even it out.

When he was trying to find the team set up (he ended up having to go online a few days later and search out how to do it, and still wasn't able to find it), the game crashed, and he had to start over....several times.

We kept having weird glitches where the sound was really off making horrible noises, and it was just not playable.  It takes a really long time to load, and isn't very user friendly.  We have all the same games for the Xbox 360 bought seperately, so we expected the same quality or better.  Also, he was pretty sure he would know where everything was located in menus and such.

Overall, we are quite disappointed currently with the quality and usable of this collection. We are hoping that with updates it will approve.

We have also already pre-ordered the Halo 5 game, and are wondering if that was a mistake or not.
