App of The Week: Matching with Friends

This Weeks App of The Week is a favourite of mine, Matching With Friends. 

Matching with Friends is a strategic puzzle game you play against your friends.  You are given 3 sets of blocks, that contain 3 blocks with colours in each one.  You then place the tiles strategically on the board so that you gain the maximum amount of points, and while still matching 3 more blocks of the same colour together. 

Once you are done your move, the game tallies up your score, and it's your opponents turn.  At the end of the game (you get 11 or 12 turns), you see who won.  Both of you get coins, although the winner gets more. 

Use these coins to buy swaps, or block removers.

The one major downside to the game is...well....if you don't have friends interested in playing or your friend doesn't make a move....well you can't play.  So that sort of minimizes the fun a bit.

Overall this is a fun game, that I do enjoy playing.
