Catlateral Damage

As a person who thought she was going to be a cat owner, and is now realizing she is owned by 2 cats, I adore them, but they can be kind of jerks sometimes.  The appeal of cats is they can be so sweet until they don't want to be, and you aren't sure when that's going to happen or what you have done.

My cats are like any cat, and like to smack stuff on the floor and watch it fall and see what happens.  If it bounces, well than they will attack it, if not, on to the next thing.  And if it doesn't smack on to the floor? Then I shall just lay on it, like this:

Sometimes I wish I got away with everything my cats get away with...but alas I am people it doesn't work that way. Well....that was until I hear about Catlateral Damage

I gotta admit, I am not sure if this is a great game, or something that is just silly fun.  It's hilarious that much I am sure of.  Basically Catlateral Damage is a first-person destructive cat simulator.  I know, right?

You get to be a cat on a rampage... Knock all the things on the floor.....ALL. THE. THINGS.   You get to move like a cat and do all things cats enjoy like jumping, crouching, and causing a mess.

I think it is truly funny, and something that I would like to try.  I am just not sure if it would get old fast or not.  I do think my boys would think it is hilarious and probably play for hours!

Here are some features about the game in case you want to try it out:

  • Play from the perspective of a crazy domestic house cat.
  • Destroy precious collectibles and expensive electronics with your little paws.
  • Make a mess of every room in the house, from the bedroom to the kitchen.
  • Procedurally-generated houses for endless replayability.
  • Loads of collectibles, unlockable cats, and power-ups.
  • Over 230 photos of real-life cats to find and collect.
Give it a check out on Twitter, and Facebook if you want to give it more time to see if you would love this or not.

So, what do you think? Would you play it?
