Thank you to Tiffany from Naturally Cracked for reviewing this game for us!
With my 7 year old comes video games. As much as I try to get rid of them they always seem to make their way back in. Maybe it has something to do with his daddy being a gamer or maybe the fact that his mommy sneaks in some games also. So I just make sure the games that come into the house are appropriate and of course fun for mommy too.
I was given the chance to review Moshi Monsters, Katsuma Unleashed recently. When I first was offered the chance I had no freaking idea what a Moshi Monster even was. So I was excited to get the game in my hands umm I mean my sons hands to try it out. First I had to research a bit and make sure that it as age appropriate for my son and that it was of interest to him. I must say I was impressed. Basically there is an online community and you can adopt monsters, care for them, play with them and of course love them. (Find the website here) So the game was wrapped and placed under the tree.
Well on Christmas morning when my son unwrapped the game the poor box never had a chance. He tore into that thing like there was a million dollars in there. I asked if he had ever heard of these cute little monsters and he looked at me like I was crazy...so I didn't further investigate that as I felt like I should of known the answer.
I was able to atleast hold off the gaming that morning until most of the gifts were open and off he went to pop his new game into his DSI. After about an hour I went up there to see what he was up to. We'll he was still on his bed playing his new game. So I asked him what he thought about it.
"Mommy at first when I put the game in it looked hard. But I just kept playing and it reminded me of Mario. The more I play it gets a lot easier and it is fun I want to buy it for Kianya."
I was impressed. So many games now a days I feel are way to advanced or to violent for kids. But I really like this game and recommend it. It's a nice fun and easy game but challenging enough to keep the attention of the child at the same time.
Daniel gave it two thumbs up!

That's so cute that he wanted to buy it for his friend. I'd love a copy to give to my little gamer nephew.
