At And She Games we love all kinds of gaming, and all types of games! So we have been curating some Ultimate Game Lists to show off to you! We have been working our way through the The Ultimate Board Games List for a while now, and would love if you would check that out as well!
We wanted to work on Video Games next. But first, let me say that there are a lot of video games out there. Every type and variety, and I am sure we will miss some a long the way. Also since some games and systems are obsolete and "current" can be a relative term, we went with 2005 and newer, and as many as we can find.
We would love your input on any we may miss along the way! We would also love to hear your thoughts of some of these games. If you would like to write a review of the game on our blog (we can link back to your game or business), please email us.

Eco Tycoon: Project Green
Each game begins in the year 2010, and the player has 50 years to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions as agreed upon at "World Summits", which take place every five years beginning in 2015. The world summits also determine how aid is distributed to promote emission reductions. The player starts with a region containing only cities in which he constructs such buildings as mines, power plants, and businesses. There is a finite number of locations in which buildings can be placed, requiring careful planning. Along with reducing emissions, the player must also balance the production and consumption of electricity, water, food and garbage while sustaining the economy.

Stardock calls Elemental "a strategy game in an RPG world." The game revolves around exploration, city-building, resource management and conquest, but also incorporates quests and detailed unit design.
Stardock has released two further turn-based strategy games set in the world of Elemental: Elemental: Fallen Enchantress, and Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes. Following the release of Fallen Enchantress, Stardock discontinued Elemental: War of Magic and no longer sells the game, although you can still buy it on some sites.

Empire Earth 3 - PC
EE3 contains five epochs, fewer than other games in the series but covering roughly the same time period. The game features three factions: Middle Eastern, Western, and Far Eastern. Each faction comprises unique buildings, units, and technologies.
It introduces several new units and weapons, as well as a new free-form campaign structure that is similar in style to other real time strategy games, such as the Total War series. However, unlike Total War, the player advances through the entire course of history rather than staying in a specific time period.

Endless Legend
Research around 100 technologies across four eras through quests and research, while collecting Dust, luxuries, and strategic resources tradable at the marketplace.
Eight potential win scenarios for players experience through culture, trade and conquest. Example of a win: One enables your race to discover an ancient spaceship, leave the planet, and become and embryonic version of one of Endless Space's galactic factions.
Endless Legend does away with skill trees with branching paths, instead enabling players to accumulate enough experience to advance to the next age without linear paths to follow. Explore unknown territory by sending heroes into every corner of the world to find mysterious artifacts to equip troops.

Endless Space
In Endless Space the player chooses one of ten unique civilizations, or can choose to create their own, to expand their interstellar empire and conquer the galaxy. To win, the player must be the first to meet the requirements for certain victory conditions, such as Economic, Diplomatic, Expansionary, and Supremacy victories.
The game plays out on a randomly generated galaxy map with room for up to eight players/AI per game. Players colonize different star systems, which in turn contain up to six planets. Star systems are connected via a series of cosmic strings which allow ships to travel rapidly between neighbouring systems. In addition, hero units can be recruited to act as system administrators or fleet admirals, which provide bonuses depending on their traits that can further be leveled up. Battles take place in a quasi-real-time environment, similar to Rock-paper-scissors.

Europa Universalis III
The player controls a nation and handles matters concerning war, diplomacy, trade, and economy. The original game without expansions starts in 1453, right after the Fall of Constantinople, and continues to 1789, just past the beginning of the French Revolution. The expansion Napoleon's Ambition extends the end game year forward to 1821, whereas the expansion In Nomine moves the starting year back to 1399.
Europa Universalis III has a 3D engine. The map has 1,700 land and sea provinces encompassing most of the world, with 250 playable historical nations. The game also uses elements of other Paradox games such as Crusader Kings, Victoria, and Hearts of Iron II.

Europa Universalis IV
The game is mainly set in the historical era of the initial European exploration and colonization of the New World. It opens against the historical backdrop of the tail end of the Hundred Years War and the decline of the Byzantine Empire, continues through to the Revolutionary periods of the United States and France, and concludes after the historical era of the Napoleonic Wars. However, as neither the player nor any AI controlled countries are forced to reproduce history exactly, the resulting game world may differ significantly from reality.
The time span of the game ranges almost four centuries, beginning on 11 November 1444 A.D. (the day after the defeat of the Poles and Hungarians by the Ottoman Turks at the Battle of Varna, and the death of Władysław III of Poland), and ending 2 January 1821 A.D. (the year of Napoleon Bonaparte's death). The game map covers the entire Earth (minus the polar regions), and players are free to explore and expand into most of it except for certain lands such as deserts and tundra that are considered uninhabitable or unexplored historically during the in-game years. A large number of countries are playable in the game, both European and non-European. The principal constraint to playing as a non-European nation is that the game inherently is designed to replicate the dominance of Western Europe in this time period, thus non-European nations will tend to fall behind technologically as the game progresses. The player may also switch to controlling a different country within the same game world. While the game ostensibly starts in 1444, there are several different historical scenarios in which the players can choose to start the game, such as the discovery of America in 1492, the Thirty Years War or the War of Spanish Succession, for example.

Evolve
Evolve is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, pitting four player-controlled Hunters against an alien Monster, controlled by a fifth player. Both Hunters and Monsters can use unique abilities during the game. The Monster player can kill other smaller creatures to evolve and become stronger by entering a cocoon stage, leaving itself vulnerable for a short duration. The game will feature a variety of maps, one of which being a large jungle, with some industrial elements where players can take shelter. There are various power-ups that both Hunters and Monsters can obtain by killing the local wildlife. The Hunters are tasked with killing the Monster; while the Monster must either kill all four Hunters, or complete a secondary objective such as destroying a human base or power plant. The Hunters' team is always made up of four classes: a trapper, a support, a medic, and an assault class. Each class will contain a variety of different Hunters with different abilities and play-styles. Currently, eight of a planned twelve hunters have been revealed. The Monster player will also be able to choose from a variety of monsters; so far, only two of these monsters have been revealed, including "The Goliath," and "The Kraken." Evolve will also feature a single-player campaign, although specific details have not been revealed yet.
Platform(s): Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
