App of The Week: Fairway Solitaire

Ok I know Solitaire isn't the most exciting game in the world, but I am still a fan of it.  I like different ones, not the old boring one that use to come with your PC all the time.  I looked up Solitaire games one day to see if I could find any ones that were done in tournament style.  There was a long list of Solitaire games, but since I have been a Big Fish Games fan for many many years, and their game came up that was in a style where you could progress in the story I decided to try it.  It is also not just regular style, but Golf Solitaire. 

I have had the game on my iPad for a few years, and recently got it for my iPhone as well.  This game has been the #1 Solitaire game in the App Store for over 2 years.  You can play hundreds of hand-crafted golf holes and mini games with a golf announcer, hazard cards, and one SERIOUSLY ticked off gopher!

You can follow the silly and sarcastic story of the gopher and his seething disdain for golfers. From beachside courses where palm trees sway, to the hustle and bustle of illuminated city courses, you can win your way to the top.  You can earn trophies, and golf bucks to help you succeed in beating that old gopher!  The announcers have silly banter that is sometimes funny, and sometimes makes me roll my eyes.
