At And She Games we love all kinds of gaming, and all types of games! So we have been curating some Ultimate Game Lists to show off to you! We have been working our way through the The Ultimate Board Games List for a while now, and would love if you would check that out as well!
We wanted to work on Video Games next. But first, let me say that there are a lot of video games out there. Every type and variety, and I am sure we will miss some a long the way. Also since some games and systems are obsolete and "current" can be a relative term, we went with 2005 and newer, and as many as we can find.
We would love your input on any we may miss along the way! We would also love to hear your thoughts of some of these games. If you would like to write a review of the game on our blog (we can link back to your game or business), please email us.

For example, the player can schedule promotions such as the Day of Discounts to draw more people into the mall. Also, a new attraction at Camp Snoopy, the large amusement park in the center of the mall can help attract more people to the mall.

Mario Kart
Mario Kart is a series of go-kart-style racing video games. The first title in the Mario Kart series is Super Mario Kart and was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992.
The development of the first game was overseen by Shigeru Miyamoto, the Japanese video game designer who helped create the original Super Mario Bros., as well as many other successful games for Nintendo. Darran Jones of NowGamer suggests that the original success of Super Mario Kart was the result of including characters previously seen in Mario Bros. games, while also being a new type of racing game.

Mass Effect Trilogy
The trilogy largely revolves around a soldier by the name of Commander Shepard, whose mission is to save the galaxy from a race of powerful mechanical beings known as the Reapers and their agents, including the first game's antagonist Saren Arterius. The first game sees Shepard investigating Saren, who Shepard slowly comes to understand is operating under the guidance of Sovereign, a Reaper left behind in the Milky Way tens of thousands of years before, when the Reapers exterminated virtually all sentient organic life in the galaxy as part of a recurrent cycle of genocide for an unknown purpose. Sovereign is a vanguard whose purpose is to trigger the imminent return of the Reaper fleet hibernating in extra-galactic dark space, restarting the process of extermination. The second game takes place two years later, and sees Shepard battling the Collectors, an alien race abducting entire human colonies in a plan to help the Reapers return to the Milky Way. The final game of Shepard's trilogy centers on the final battle against the Reapers.
All three games have received critical acclaim for their storyline, characters, romances, voice acting, choices, and the depth of the galaxy.[1] Video game website GamesRadar called Mass Effect the best new franchise of the generation, saying the galaxy was so well-constructed that it felt like a decades-old franchise and represented "a high-water mark for video games as a story-telling medium."

Max Payne
The franchise is notable for its use of "bullet time" in action sequences.
Renegade DEA agent and former NYPD officer Max Payne attempts to hunt down the ones responsible for murdering his wife and child, as well as framing him for the murder of his partner, Alex Balder. As the story unfolds he gains a number of "allies"—most of whom are killed off in the sequel—including a Russian mafia gangster, called Vladimir Lem, and Mona Sax, a female vigilante who's out to avenge the death of her twin sister, Lisa, and manages to bring down the ring-leaders in a major drug-operation for a narcotic called V or Valkyr—after the mythological figures in Norse mythology.

Medieval II Series
Platforms: Microsoft Windows
=================================================
Medieval Lords
It plays like a medieval version of SimCity being like a city building game where the violence and battles take a back seat to village management like providing food, entertainment, religious amenities and transit to your peasants so you can collect taxes on them.
One of the uncommon features in the game is that you can enter a first person view and walk around your own town as if you were a villager.
Medieval Lords was also the name of a turn-based game published in 1991 by Strategic Simulations that simulated medieval European warfare, nation building, economics, and political realities.

Metal Gear Solid Series
Metal Gear is a series of action-adventure stealth video games. The player takes control of a special forces operative Solid Snake who is assigned to find the titular superweapon "Metal Gear", a bipedal walking tank with the ability to launch nuclear weapons. Several sequels have been released for multiple consoles after requests from Konami to produce new Metal Gear games. The sequels expand the original game's plot adding new characters opposing and supporting Snake, while there have also been a few prequels exploring the origins of the Metal Gear and recurring characters. Various parts were inspired by Hollywood films with character's names, settings and artworks often referencing them.
The series is famous for having pioneered the stealth game genre, in which the character initially has only one weapon and has to go through the game to accomplish his mission by himself. Other notable traits are cinematic cut scenes, intricate storylines, offbeat humor, and exploration of political and philosophical themes. More than 30 million copies of the game franchise have been sold worldwide, with individual installments having been critically acclaimed and having received several awards. The franchise has also been adapted into other media such as comics and drama CDs.

Metro: Last Light
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Moscow, part of the universe of the novel Metro 2033, but does not follow any direct storylines from the books.
Metro: Last Light is played from the perspective of Artyom, the player-character. The story takes place in post-apocalyptic Moscow, mostly inside the metro system, but occasionally missions bring the player above ground.
As a first-person shooter, Metro: Last Light features a variety of firearms, some fictional and some based on real weapons, which the player will use in combat. Combat alternates between the player fighting mutants and the player fighting hostile humans. Mutants do not possess weapons and tend to physically attack the player in swarms, while humans fight with the same firearms available to the player. The game features recharging health rather than a traditional health points system—if the player avoids taking damage for a period, health will slowly recharge. The player can speed up this process by using a stim from a medkit, which will almost instantly heal the player to full health. When the player is severely injured, it may take over twenty seconds to return to full health. Health does not regenerate on, or above the "Hardcore" difficulty.

Minecraft
Minecraft is an open world game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. However, there is an achievement system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing blocks. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes— arranged in a fixed grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, and tree trunks. While players can move freely across the world, objects can only be placed at fixed locations on the grid. Players can gather these material blocks and place them elsewhere, thus allowing for various constructions.

Mortal Kombat Kollection
The development of the first game was originally based on an idea by Ed Boon and John Tobias of making a video game starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, but that idea fell through and a science fantasy-themed fighting game titled Mortal Kombat was created instead and released in 1992. The original game has spawned many sequels and has been spun off into several action-adventure games, films (animated and live-action with its own sequel), and television series (animated and live-action). Other spin-offs include various comic book series, a card game and a live-action tour. Along with Capcom's Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat has become one of the most successful and influential fighting franchises in the history of video games.
The series is known for its high levels of bloody violence, including, most notably, its Fatalities—finishing moves, requiring a sequence of buttons to perform, which, in part, led to the creation of the ESRB video game rating system. The series name itself is also known for using the letter "K" in place of "C" for the hard C sound, thus intentionally misspelling the word "combat", as well as other words with the hard C sound within later games in the series. Early games in the series were especially noted for its realistic digitized sprites (which differentiated it from its contemporaries' hand-drawn sprites) and an extensive use of palette swapping to create new characters you can play as in The game.

MVP Baseball Series
MVP Baseball introduced an innovative pitch meter and zone-based hitting system. There is a glitch in the franchise mode. The 2003 schedule is the real-life MLB schedule, however, once the player enters into the 2004 season, the game generates a random schedule of teams to play against. The teams you play based on the generated schedule stay exactly the same each year there after, in the same schedule order. Ex. 2004 and 2005 and further you will always have to play against the same interleague teams, unlike real MLB schedule which rotates interleague play divisions through a cycle.
The 2003 game is the last game that uses a points system for player's salary, starting with the 2004 game an actual dollar amount is used for salaries. The 2003 game does not penalize a user for releasing a player during the season in franchise mode, whereas the 2004 and 2005 games invoke a salary penalty for releasing a player under contract.
