And She Games...: Indie Game Maker Contest

Have you always wanted to develop your own game? Then check out the Indie Game Maker Contest! This is the 2nd year of this contest and it runs from July 7th-Aug 7th.

If you have made games before then just make your game, and submit it through their website. If you never have made one, and aren't sure how to go about this then you can buy one of their Humble Bundle packs and get everything you need to create a game.

I love that with their bundle, you choose what to pay. If you pay more than the average, then you get bonus items for free. But you don't have to. The more bundles they sell the more money will be in the prize pot for the winning game designer. To find out what the current prize level is you can check out the prizes page.

Remember you don't have to have the perfect game, just give it a go, and see what happens.

If you aren't into designing, but just a lover of games, you can go and download the games and play them yourself! That's more my speed, but I told my hubby about this as him and my son always talk about making games together.
